Welcome to Sanctus Academy Amateur Boxing Club, Brighouse’s premier boxing club. At Sanctus boxing club we are dedicated to developing our members both physically and mentally through teaching the art of Boxing. To achieve this, we perfect the core fundamentals of boxing; teaching balance, manoeuvre, attack and defence effectively. We then enhance these skills through strength and conditioning to ensure our members are the fastest, strongest and most agile version of themselves.

 

We are an England Boxing affiliated Boxing club, as well as a British boxing board of control member. At Sanctus our coaches are fully qualified England Boxing coaches and BBBofC Professional Boxing trainers who are also qualified personal trainers. All our coaches are DBS, safeguarding trained and first aid trained.

 

We are a competitive England Boxing club, with many successes both in and out of the boxing ring. Many of our competitive boxers are Box cup, area belt holders, as well as regional and national champions. Along with many of our boxers being successful in everyday life due to growth in self confidence and positive mindsets because of the SEMH work that we do in the community of Calderdale, Brighouse and Bradford. As a result of this we have received community recognition awards by Cleto Reyes in association with WBC foundation, as well as being recognised by England Boxing and Calderdale Community Foundation for our community impact.
